A small portion of the United States is known as the Jell-O Belt which covers Utah, Southeast Idaho, and small bits of Nevada, California, and Wyoming. This area has the highest density of Mormons and also the highest Jell-O consumption in the United States. Jell-O is also the state snack of Utah.
